The man behind ‘It Came From The Jungle’, NISKERONE started this weekly residency at Fiction DJ Bar in May 2006 after identifying a need in Cape Town for a Drum & Bass night that catered to the lighter side of the genre. Aside from pleasing hundreds of revelers each week, it also secured him slots alongside industry leaders such as Pendulum, Busta Rhymes, The Bloody Beetroots, DJ Fresh (UK), Dieselboy, Sigma, Cutline, and many more. In 2010, NISKERONE took his energetic live sets to the crowds of Europe where he performed in Belgium, Holland, Germany and Sweden, as well as at Spain’s renowned 40 000 strong Monegros Desert Festival. In 2011 he was invited back to the Monegros Festival to share the stage and billing with David Guetta, Rusko, Boys Noize, Carl Cox, Steve Aoki, Dirtyphonics and many others. Locally, NISKERONE has received headline status at nearly every major festival including Rocking The Daisies, Earthdance, Synergy, Rezonance and RAMFest in 2010, and OppiKoppi, Earthdance, Synergy, Rezonance and RAMFest in 2011. NISKERONE in 2012: Besides tearing up dance floors in clubs across South Africa on a weekly basis and creating mayhem on festival stages, It Came From The Jungle will relaunch in April and return for the sixth year to its legendary weekly slot at Fiction in Cape Town. NISKERONE will also return to his monthly residency at Origin in Durban. He is also planning to take It Came From The Jungle across South Africa three times a year, with performances in Johannesburg, Port Elizabeth, Durban and Pretoria. It was a night to remember here are a couple photos from the epicness!!!!
The man himself Lord Niskerone helped us out by laying down his mark on lucky Corne Classsen!!
